After more than 20 years in the ingredients, flavors, animal nutrition, and biotech sectors, I held leadership roles in marketing, business development, and innovation in international, B2B environments.
This journey gave me a 360° view of the value chain—from marketing to R&D, from business strategy to the industrial reality on the ground—and one deep conviction: a strategy only creates value when it is brought to life through execution. I have seen too many transformations remain on paper, due to a lack of shared clarity, alignment, and human commitment.

When I decided to begin coaching with Hanane, I was at a pivotal moment in stepping into my new role. I had just been appointed Group Director, with an extremely brief handover from the former director. This did not give me the opportunity to fully grasp the complex situations—sometimes left unresolved—or to gain a clear understanding of the internal dynamics at play. I found myself immersed in an organization facing multiple challenges, with underlying tensions, numerous responsibilities, and an urgent need to restore connection, meaning, and structure to our governance.

Like many leaders, I quickly felt that sense of decision-making solitude, the weight of expectations, the pressure of day-to-day urgencies, and the difficulty of aligning strategic vision with human leadership. I needed space to step back, but also strong support to structure my leadership posture, define my priorities, and initiate a genuine collective momentum.

From the very first sessions, I found in Hanane a stimulating, demanding, yet deeply supportive framework. She helped me move from reactive mode into structured and aligned action. Her coaching sparked a first concrete breakthrough: initiating the creation of an executive committee (ExCom), selecting the right team members to be part of it, structuring collective leadership, and clarifying the group’s mission.

This coaching also enabled me to overcome a structural challenge within our organization: our three subsidiaries were highly focused on their individual profitability, sometimes at the expense of our shared mission of social inclusion. The work we did helped reinject collaboration and cooperation between the different entities, through concrete actions that made a real difference:

  • Two monthly meetings between supervisors and employment advisors, to better target profiles, streamline recruitment, and harmonize practices.

  • Joint participation in job fairs, to strengthen our local presence and recruitment capacity.

  • Creation of cross-functional committees, to foster inter-subsidiary dialogue and break down silo mentalities.

  • Cross-training sessions, to reinforce a shared support culture and professionalize our practices.

However, this coaching went far beyond tools or organizational mechanisms. It transformed me in my leadership posture and helped me trust my instincts. I learned to communicate more effectively, set a clear framework, delegate with confidence, and step away from the “I must do everything myself” mindset. I also embraced the importance of protecting my own balance, recognizing that taking care of myself enables me to better support others. The simple “three daily wins” exercise suggested by my coach helped me stay grounded in the present, reconnect with positivity even on busy days, and regain a sense of active serenity.

The atmosphere is gradually calming. The tensions that remain no longer unsettle me; I see them as signs of change in progress, which will take the time needed to take root. I feel ideas, decisions, and responsibilities circulating more fluidly. I no longer need to be everywhere—I am where I am most useful, with greater clarity and perspective.
